Ethereum Price Surges Past $2,220, Eyes $2,550 Amid Bullish Trend

Ethereum Pushes Higher, But Can It Break $2,500?

Ethereum’s price is making another run at higher levels, climbing past $2,220 and holding steady above $2,320. It’s not exactly a straight shot up—there’s been some back-and-forth—but for now, the trend seems to be leaning bullish.

The move comes after ETH found solid footing around $2,115, bouncing back with enough strength to clear several resistance points. It even managed to push past the 61.8% retracement level from its recent drop, which is usually a decent sign. But here’s the thing: $2,480 to $2,500 is proving to be a stubborn zone. Buyers have tried a few times, but so far, no clean break.

Where Does Ethereum Go From Here?

If ETH can finally push past $2,500, things could get interesting. The next big test would be around $2,550, and beyond that, $2,650 isn’t out of the question. Some traders are even eyeing $2,800 if momentum really picks up.

But—and this is a big but—if it stalls here, we might see another dip. The first real support sits near $2,390, where a bullish trendline has been forming on the hourly chart. Below that, $2,350 is key. If that gives way, things could get shaky, with $2,250 or even $2,150 back in play.

It’s worth noting that Bitcoin’s movement has been influencing ETH lately, so keep an eye on that too. The two don’t always move in lockstep, but lately, they’ve been pretty close.

What the Indicators Are Saying

The MACD is looking positive, at least for now, with momentum building on the hourly chart. The RSI is also holding above 50, which suggests buyers still have some control. Neither is screaming “overbought” yet, so there might be room for more upside.

Still, nothing’s guaranteed. Crypto moves fast, and sentiment can flip in hours. For traders, those key levels—$2,350 support and $2,500 resistance—are probably the ones to watch. Break one, and the next move becomes a lot clearer.

For now, Ethereum’s holding its ground. Whether it can push higher or gets knocked back down, though, is still up in the air.
