Ethereum Price Surges 8% as ETH Eyes $2,460 Resistance Amid Bullish Trend

Ethereum Bounces Back After Recent Dip

Ethereum’s price seems to be finding its footing again after slipping toward the $2,120 mark earlier this week. Over the past day or so, ETH has climbed more than 8%, pushing past $2,300 and showing signs of life. It’s not exactly smooth sailing yet—there’s still some resistance looming around $2,460—but for now, the trend looks cautiously optimistic.

Bitcoin’s recent uptick might have helped, but Ethereum’s move above $2,200 and then $2,250 suggests it’s not just riding coattails. There was also a break past a stubborn bearish trend line around $2,240, which had been holding things back. That’s a decent signal, at least for the short term.

Where Does Ethereum Go From Here?

Right now, ETH is sitting above its 100-hour moving average, which is usually a good sign. The next test is whether it can push past $2,440—and then, more importantly, $2,460. If it manages that, things could get interesting. The $2,500 zone is the next big hurdle, and beyond that, $2,550 isn’t out of the question.

But—and this is always the case with crypto—it’s not a sure thing. If ETH stalls around $2,460 and can’t break through, we might see another dip. The first level to watch on the downside would be $2,340, followed by $2,320. If those don’t hold, things could get messy, with $2,250 and even $2,150 back in play.

What the Indicators Are Saying

The MACD, which had been showing some bullish momentum, is starting to lose steam. That doesn’t mean a drop is guaranteed, but it’s worth keeping an eye on. The RSI, meanwhile, is hovering above 50, which suggests there’s still some room to run before things get overbought.

For now, the key levels are pretty clear: $2,320 as major support and $2,460 as the next big resistance. Which way it breaks will likely set the tone for the next few days.

Of course, crypto being crypto, none of this is set in stone. A sudden shift in sentiment—good or bad—could change things fast. But for the moment, Ethereum’s looking a bit stronger than it did a week ago. Whether that lasts is another question entirely.
